Share Your Story
A place to share how you experienced something you couldn’t explain.
Not every experience with the unknown comes with answers. Some come with fear. Some with confusion. Some with moments that linger for years without resolution.
The Third Boundary exists to document how people experience encounters with the unexplained—not to judge them, explain them away, or turn them into spectacle.
If something happened to you and it stayed with you, you are welcome to share it here.
What This Is
- A place for real experiences
- Emotional honesty is welcome
- Uncertainty is acceptable
- You do not need answers
What This Is Not
- A debunking forum
- A place for ridicule
- A competition for proof
- A guarantee of publication
Submission Guidelines
You do not need to explain what happened to you. You only need to describe how you experienced it.
Encounters submitted to The Third Boundary are presented as personal accounts. They are not required to be complete, conclusive, or easily explained. Fear, uncertainty, and confusion are part of many of these experiences and should not be edited out.
Write your account in your own words. Do not worry about sounding objective or formal. Focus on what you noticed, what you felt, and how the experience stayed with you afterward.
If you don’t know what it was, say so. If you never spoke about it again, that matters. If the event was brief or incomplete, that is acceptable.
What to Include (If You Can)
When the experience occurred (approximate is fine)
Where it happened (general location is acceptable)
What you noticed before, during, and after
How the experience affected you
What Is Not Required
A conclusion or explanation
A label for what you encountered
Proof or physical evidence
Perfect memory
Attribution Preference
If your encounter is published, you may choose how (or if) you are credited.
You may request:
Your full name
Initials only
A pseudonym
No attribution (anonymous)
If no preference is stated, encounters will be published without attribution. Attribution does not imply verification or endorsement. It reflects only how the account is presented.
Editorial Notes
Submissions may be lightly edited for clarity and safety. Emotional content will not be removed. Identifying details can be withheld or altered at your request. Not all submissions will be published. If something happened to you and you’ve carried it quietly, you’re welcome to share it here.
