Merchandise offered through The Third Boundary helps support the ongoing work of the site, including publishing encounters, maintaining the archive, and developing future projects.

The following policies apply to all purchases made through our store.


Fulfillment Methods

The Third Boundary offers merchandise through two fulfillment methods:

Print-on-Demand (POD)

Some items are produced and shipped by third-party print-on-demand partners and are made specifically for each order.

In-House Fulfillment

Some items are stocked and shipped directly by The Third Boundary.

The fulfillment method for each item is determined by the product listing.


Processing Times

Print-on-Demand Items

  • Production typically takes 3-5 business days

  • Items ship once production is complete

In-House Items

  • Orders typically ship within 2 business days

Processing times may vary during high-demand periods, holidays, or special releases.


Shipping

  • Shipping rates and options are calculated at checkout

  • Tracking information will be provided when available

  • Delivery times vary by location and carrier

The Third Boundary is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or circumstances beyond our control.


Returns & Exchanges

Print-on-Demand Items

Because print-on-demand items are made to order:

  • All sales are final

  • Returns or exchanges are accepted only for items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect

If there is an issue, please contact us within 5 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging.


In-House Fulfilled Items

For items fulfilled directly by The Third Boundary:

  • Returns are accepted within [X] days of delivery

  • Items must be unused and in original condition

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect

Refunds are issued after the returned item is received and inspected.


Lost or Damaged Packages

If an order arrives damaged or is lost in transit:

We will work with the carrier or fulfillment partner to resolve the issue where possible.


International Orders

International orders may be subject to:

These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not controlled by The Third Boundary.


Cancellations

Orders may be canceled only if production or fulfillment has not yet begun.

Once an item has entered production or shipped, cancellations are not possible.
